Go to Settings → Import / Export to export any of your PSA or compliance data, or import a CSV to bulk-create or update records.

Available exports

Every dataset below is available in CSV, Excel (XLSX), and PDF:
The dataset list you see is scoped to what your plan and role allow — a compliance-only organization won’t see PSA datasets like Invoices or Time Entries, and vice versa.

Exporting

1

Find the dataset

On the Export tab, find the dataset you want.
2

Set filters (optional)

Click Filters to narrow by date range or other fields available for that dataset.
3

Pick a format

Click CSV, Excel, or PDF.
A small export downloads immediately. A large one is queued as a background job automatically — you don’t need to do anything differently; Regentra tells you it queued the export and emails you a download link when it’s ready.

Formats

Plain comma-separated values — the most portable option, good for importing into another system or a spreadsheet.

Background exports for large datasets

An export over roughly 5,000 rows can’t stream back synchronously, so it’s queued as a background job instead. You’ll see a notice that it’s queued, and an email arrives with a download link once it finishes — you don’t need to keep the page open. Background jobs:
  • Handle up to 250,000 rows in a single export.
  • Expire and become unavailable for download 72 hours after completion — export again if you need the file later.
  • Are capped at 3 concurrent jobs per organization — wait for one to finish (or let it expire) before queuing more.
The Recent Exports section on this page lists your jobs — dataset, format, status, row count, file size, and a download link once complete.

Date filters

Any date-range filter you set (for example, on Time Entries or the Audit Log) is applied using your organization’s configured timezone, and the boundaries are inclusive of the full start and end days you pick — not a UTC midnight cutoff that clips off part of the first or last day.

What’s never exported

Passwords, integration credentials, API keys, webhook secrets, and the contents of the Networks module’s notes field are never included in any export, regardless of dataset or format — these stay inside Regentra even when you export everything else about a record.

Importing

The Import tab supports bulk-creating or updating a handful of record types from CSV: Upload a CSV, and Regentra reports how many rows were created, updated, or skipped, along with a row-by-row list of any errors.
These CSV imports are separate from the dataset-registry exports above — they cover only the record types listed in the table, not every exportable dataset. A couple of the others have their own bulk-import path elsewhere instead of on this page: Networks imports from PSA → Networks, and Contacts import from PSA → Contacts. Companies and the remaining datasets have no bulk-import path today.
