# Compliance Reports

> Generate compliance summaries, gap analysis reports, and executive briefings with on-screen preview and PDF export.

Reports turn your compliance data into shareable documents for auditors, executives, and clients. Regentra generates reports with real-time data from your controls, evidence, and risk assessments — no manual assembly required.

## On-Screen Preview

Every report can be previewed in the browser before download. The preview shows exactly what the final PDF will look like, including:

* Cover page with organization name and report date
* Table of contents
* Charts and compliance score visualizations
* Control detail tables
* Risk assessment summaries (if applicable)

<Tip>
  Use the on-screen preview to verify accuracy before sharing with auditors or clients. It is much easier to catch issues on screen than after distributing a PDF.
</Tip>

## PDF Generation

Exported PDFs include Regentra branding by default:

* **Cover page** with your organization name, report type, date, and the Regentra logo
* **Professional formatting** with consistent headers, tables, and charts
* **Page numbers and section headers** for easy navigation
* **Timestamp** showing when the report was generated

<Note>
  Reports reflect your compliance data at the time of generation. If you need a historical snapshot, generate the report on the date you need it — or use scheduled reports to capture regular snapshots automatically.
</Note>

## Scheduled Reports

## Report Recipients and Email Delivery

* **Internal team members** — compliance officers, administrators, and leadership
* **External stakeholders** — auditors, clients, and regulatory contacts
* **Distribution lists** — send to a group email address for broader distribution

<Info>
  Recipients do not need a Regentra account to receive report emails. PDFs are attached directly to the email, so anyone can review them.

<Warning>
  Reports may contain sensitive compliance data. Verify recipient email addresses before sending, especially when sharing with external parties. Reports are not encrypted in transit beyond standard email TLS.
